Touseabalancescale,
用天平的时候，
makesurethepansareempty
要确保盘子是空的，
andthesliderisallthewaytotheleft,
指针在最左边，

或者在0点。
Placetheobjecttobeweighedononeofthepans
把要称重的物体放到其中一个盘子上，
andabalanceweightontheother.
把一个砝码放到另一个盘子上。
Tobemorepreciseinyourmeasurement,
为了让你的测量更精确，
trylargerorsmallerweights
不断尝试大一点或者小一点的砝码，
tomakethescaleslevel.
让天平平衡。
Whenyouareascloseaspossiblewiththoseweights,
当你用砝码已经非常接近平衡，
butstillneedalittlemorebalanceweight,
但是还需要一点重量时，
usetheslider.
用指针。
Slidethetabgentlytotheright
轻轻向右滑动，
untilscalesevenout.
直到天平平衡。
Thenaddupyourbalanceweightandslideramounts
然后把砝码和指针的数量加起来，
togettheweightoftheobjectyouwantedtoweigh.
得到你想称的物体的重量。
